Fishing Gear

Wool Socks- 3 pair (Simms, Smartwool, Patagonia etc)
Base Layers- 2 pair Merino midweight to heavyweight top and bottom

Outerwear- Puffy Jacket Synthetic (Puffy Vest optional but recommended)

Rain Gear- Wading Jacket (rain pants for around camp are optional)

Gloves- wool fingerless, full fingered wool, and a pair of heavier gloves for in the boat or around camp

Wading Boots- NO FELT!! Studded (aluminum bars are great as are star cleats. Simms Access Wading Boot is a great non studded option

Rod- 7 or 8 wt around 12’6” (we will be fishing spots without much room) We do have shorter rods if you need one for those spots. You will not need or use a single hand rod.

Flies- Flies will be provided but feel free to bring your own. Flies we like include the Beast of Burden, Graboid, Led ZepPrawn, Sure Shot, Zoomer, Back Door Slider, the Pick Yer Pocket, classics tied on AJ 1.5-3/0 (Marty’s First Light, Lady Caroline, Sol Duc Spey, Mahony, Skagit Mist, October Bright Etc), the Hoh Bo Spey, and Suskwa Poacher

Camp Clothes- Whatever you feel comfortable in 45F-teens (Hoodies, Sweatpants, insulated Carharts, puffy pants, Crocs or whatever shoes you want around camp)
Sleep Wear- Up to you. Inside your tent will be warm no matter what the weather is like.
